We are always looking for new volunteers to help during our store hours. With your help, we can better spread the vision of Ten Thousand Villages and make sure that the artisans are truly getting all of the money they deserve for the hours of work and dedication that they put into their craft. Meet Our Volunteers
Clare Donofrio
I've been volunteering on and off here since the Kenilworth store opened. For me, volunteering at Ten Thousand Villages provides a sense of being a part of something bigger than myself, and doing a small bit of good for humanity. I'm a senior in high school and hope to begin college in 2008 in New York, Chicago or Boston, studying photography, writing and philosophy. I hope to continue volunteering for Ten Thousand Villages.
Hannah Wicklein
I am a Writing and Publishing student at Emerson College up in Boston, with an expected graduation in 2010. I've always had an interest in helping others, which I got my first real taste of when I was in high school, being an active member of Key Club. This really piqued my interest, and opened up my eyes to the good we can do, even if it feels like one person can't move mountains.
I started volunteering at Ten Thousand Villages in the summer of 2007 to help get the website running, and do what I can to help in the store.

I believe that everyone who works should be able to live off of their earnings. I have shopped at Ten Thousand Villages for years, and like knowing that money is going directly to the artisans. By volunteering at Ten Thousand Villages, I get to support the artistans even more.
